坎培拉記2 - 英文日記

各位看倌們不好意思,這一篇日記是從我的手札截下來的
我是用英文來述說來表達當初的臨場感。若對英文閱讀有所困難請見諒。

I didn't have a very nice deep sleep last night. I was keeping dreaming and warking up every single hour all night. It was really strange because I haven't got this kind of nerve about 3 years. Last time that I can remember I lost my sleep was a day before I was going to fail a subject's exam which was taking the very next day.

Now, the day is coming. I'm feeling alright. There are more than 10 hours with more than 90 strangers in one room. I didn't feel comfortable at all. Man, it wasn't easy. Eventually, I knew some people by the end of the day. David, a guy sat next to me the whole morning. We didn't talk much. All I knew about him was he was local in Canbarra. (He was the first David I met in this conference. I'll call him David1 from now on.) By the time, we finished this conference, I found David1 had his family on his won. A wife, a just born child and a Honda family car.

David2 was from Melbourne. I met him when I was on queue to the lunch table. He was a nice guy with a nice smile. At that time, we had been tought about networking from morning presentations. Both of us couldn't get rid of the weird feeling about pushing ourselves to talk to other people. We exchanged a couple of clod dry laughs when we found a guy, called Andish, tried to apprach us with his new but strange networking skill. Even thought, we didn't talik after this conversation. I found I did reach back my comfort after all, because it's rally hard to find someone who met at first time had some sort of feelings were the same.

The third guy that I met, Andish, as I just mentioned. He was a weird guy really. I do believe he does needs more training for not to over excited by anything that he just learned. He simply pushed himself too hard into converstaion which made rest of people felt uneasy to carry out.

There was a guy sat next to me during tonight's dinning. I forgot what his name was (as my networking teacher said: nobody could remember more than three people in detail at first conversation) but we had a bit nice chat. He was from Perth which another side of Australia, the sourtheast by west. He sat on my left hand side of the table during the dinner time. He was working in a medical lab for comparing notes between doctros' discribtion and medicen list.

Tracy, she was sitting on my right hand side and is working in CIT (Canbarra Institution of Technology) as a teacher. She was really funy, but at same time, she could be very quiet just for enjoy her meal. I didn't get any preasure at all to sit next to her.

And now, near 12:00AM, I'm trying to memorise this busy day in Canbarra. There's one day to go, then all of us will go separate ways until someday, somewhere and somwhere we meet again. Hopefully, by that time, everyone is going well for whatever that we intent to do.

Best Wish for All!!!
